Destination: Boxford!

We had a cool start to today's Cyclopath ride -- a reminder that Fall is not too far off! After tossing around a few route ideas at the start, our group of nine settled on Boxford as today's route destination -- always a nice ride along quiet roads, (and who can beat the hospitality of the Boxford Community Store?) We headed out towards Topsfield, (our route destination last week as well), sticking together and taking the Lost Route into Boxford. (One of these days, we should try that route in the reverse direction for a change of pace!)

At breakfast, a few chose to try the Apple Cranberry Spelt French Toast (with real maple syrup) for breakfast. Any reviews? (Wayne's is on Facebook, by the way, if we ever want to check out their weekend breakfast specials!)

Heading home after breakfast, the gang took the Topsfield Linear Common Trail to the Wenham Rail Trail and Route 97. It was an easy ride home and all nine of us finished together at the Roger Conant Statue in Salem. (When was the last time that has happened? Felt like old times!) A great morning and a great ride!

Next week, we roll out one last time at 6:30 a.m. before bumping to our post-Labor Day 7 a.m. start. A sure sign that the summer season is almost over.
